Anne Bohne Curtis has had a love of creating art for as long as she can remember. She grew up in Savannah, GA, and attended college at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, where she received a degree in Fine Arts. After working as a textile designer for 10+ years, she began her career as a full time artist after the birth of her first child in January of 2019. Anne enjoys painting her subjects in a style as she sees them. She is intrigued by the layering of color, movement of brushstrokes and the textures they create. She finds inspiration in the natural landscapes of the Southeastern United States and its bright, warm culture rooted in tradition. She currently lives and works out of her home studio in Atlanta with her husband Brett, their young son Charlie, and dachshund Turbo.
