Fran Hazel, a Mississippi native, has been in love with painting since 1996. She got her first glimpse of the art world after apprenticing for a professional weaver during her college years. Fran says she gathers inspiration from all over, although most of her recent works are of beautiful landscapes and scenic views. She became an artist simply because it is “good for the soul”. She currently lives in Gainesville, Georgia with her husband.
